The IELTS test has been designed to be a fair test. Your English language ability will be assessed objectively, regardless of any disability that you may have.
We make every effort to cater for the special needs of disabled candidates.
Candidates who suffer from visual impairment, hearing difficulties, speech impediment and learning difficulties may request for special arrangements.
The process can take more than three months depending on the nature of the requested special arrangements.
All applications must be supported by medical evidence. This should be on headed paper, clearly written in English, with the relevant details and qualification of a recognised practitioner; give a clear statement of the candidate’s disability; state how the disability justifies Special Arrangements.
For candidates with specific learning disability, you will need to provide a medical certificate from within the last two years when you book your test.
To request for special arrangements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
